Biography:
Talon is the codename for multiple assassins serving the Court of Owls, a secret society that has controlled Gotham City for centuries. They are resurrected from the dead through a secret process involving a special serum and are trained from childhood to be highly skilled killers.
The first Talon introduced in the comic books is William Cobb. He debuted in *Batman* #5 (November 2011) as part of the New 52 relaunch. Cobb was a circus acrobat from the 19th century, recruited and transformed into a Talon.
Each Talon is essentially immortal, capable of regeneration and surviving severe injuries. They are typically awakened when the Court of Owls requires their services, acting as enforcers of the Court's will and protectors of their secrets.
